Should be allowed to use deadly force everywhere in the country. Maybe more low life pond scum would think twice before they act.

I remember this case, glad he was cleared, I know it seemed to all depend on the neighbors instructions while he was gone.

While I can see where this sort of thing could get out of hand, in this case I would agree that Joe did the right thing. While I wouldn't hesitate to shoot somebody breaking into my own house, I don't think I could do it to defend a neighbors property, mainly because I'd be concerned about the legal ramifications.

If robbers were shot in the act more often I have a feeling this type of crime would pretty much disappear.
