not sure of what the first two things exactly are for....im pretty sure they are for emissions/smog pump, which in that case i want to know if i can remove them without affecting drivability....keep in mind there is no motor in my car right now so i can't just look to see where certain lines run.

^I think lines from this run to the smog pump?

^charcoal canister i think? but not sure exactly what it does...?
Last pic is for A/C...line on the right runs to the vacuum tree, and bottom two run through the firewall. Do they go to the knobs on the dash to control the A/C? I want to know where they run so i can disconnect them, becuase i won't be running A/C...

The 2nd pic is a charcoal canister. Basically it "filters" the fumes from the gas tank and disperses them into the atmosphere.

You can eliminate everything you have in those pictures. You will still want to keep the one vacum line that runs through the firewall by the heater core hoses hooked to manifold vacum though. That is the line that supplies vacum to the Heat/AC controls so that you can switch from defroster vents, to dash vents to floor vents.

I just removed it on my 90 and left the breather line that comes from the tank tucked in the passenger side inner fender. I am not getting any gas odor from it.

That's it! Just put a coupler on it and the one that runs from the vacum manifold over by the brake booster.
Also, be sure to replace the heater core lines. They look a bit old.

Just connect the vacum tree a/c line to the one coming through the firewall.

 You're going to get a check engine light from eliminating all of the smog crap from the car, but if you're planning on any custom tuning down the raod, that smog stuff can be disabled in the computer and will get rid of the check engine light.

+1. Mine is all gone. The tune disabled it so off and to the garbage can it went. EGR and all. As Ed said, tuck the hose from the canister into the wheelwell. Does that car have a blower on it? Judging by the canister kicked sideways it looks as it does or did at one time.

not since i've had it, but i think it did at one point..even the hole in the fender that is after the airbox hole is cut out larger, so it prob did, or maybe had a powerpipe or something
