Wings sign Hossa!

1 yr. 7.4 mil., same $$$ the Pens offered but just 1 yr.---can't understand it at all.
As a Wings fan first I love it.
As a Pens fan second I hate it.

That's weird... usually guys want a longer contract, that way they can guarantee themselves more money, instead of taking the chance of 1 bad year, then not making didley squat the next year when your a free agent again.

Thats gotta be it, but this signing still confuses me.
I think he would have as good a chance to get to the Cup finals with the Pens and still have the same money guaranteed while playing with Crosby whose also secure for the same time :o.
The Wings will be STACKED for a repeat---just hope I get to see them here again this year in the Finals.
