Well, at least it looks like it has potential and everything I didn't like about it you seem to be addressing. What are the plans for it? I like that peal white color. I'm interested in seeing what you do with it.

Plans are so distorted at the moment.

The thing is i need to make it my shop car, to advertise what it is that I do, sell, install. So the important things that I am planning probably will not be in the areas of prioroty for most mustang owners, but for my business are a must.

So just a little bit of the list will include:
5.0
Pearl White, and some Ghoast Graffics to help advertise my painters abilities.
Air Ride, (not negotiateable)
Full interior, probably as blpk suggested (03 GT, black leather)
Shaved smoothed exterior, including door handles, antenna, wiper cowl, key holes, door moldings
Custom Fiberglass center console
Custom Fiberglass Trunk enclosure for 3 subs
Custom Fiberglass Dash
Custom Fiberglass Door panels
A few LCD Screens
A Navi SystemAnd much more, just need to figure it all out yet.

I was refering the rules to Troll, Chaz. He likes to brake the rules sometimes.:readrules: :sticktonge:

wow, i was actually attempting to avoid any type of unsolisited advertisment.

Please PM me with any issue or area in which any mod, or Admin finds to be unacceptable.

I have infact read your rules before posting.
I belive I have been acting within a manor consistent with your regulations.

Now onto the good stuff. where is your e-fighting area, the one where a person can have an uncivilized conversation with another member of your board. I am quite intrested in expressing my thought towards a particular individule at this moment, but think i should wait to see where the drama is suppose to be, Thanks.:boxing:

[please delete this post at will, id like the build post to stay intact and open for future dicussion, and photos]

So today I pulled the Dash, and the windshield to make way for some rust repair and a new custom Dash. Also along the way I found The rear Hatch to be unrepairable, so I to removed that as well.

SO.. I will be needing a rear hatch sooner than expected.
Along with a Drivers door, the hinge is KO'd and I dont think a repair is in order without a good welder.

Also I am in the market for Auto Meter Gauges, but purchaseing them is not the problem, hooking them up will be.

Heres the Question.....
Has anybody replaced thier Speedo, Tach, and other instrument gauges with any aftermarket ones, and if so, do any of you have a wiring diagram as to what wires carry which signal?

I consider myself to be above average when it comes to the nightmare of wiring, but id love to save time with it and use somebodys cheat sheet, so lmk what you have, any help will be and always be greatly appriciated. thanks

I'll have to look and see where I kept the paper I wrote everything down on. Keep in mind that there is a resistor that goes across the check engine light that must be kept in the car or it will not start.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but you do own an Stereo Shop correct? The wiring should be no trouble for you then. :dunno: :worried: :nervous:

I do and I am sure i could figure them out in time, but a cheat sheet sounds so much better to me than a few hours with the multi mete.

And I did not know about the resistor, thank you for that info, I would have been really stuck on that one :pinkthumb:

I would have been really stuck on that one :pinkthumb:
Took me about 2 hours of trial and error to figure it out, so I know the feeling.

Some years had the resistor just jumpered from on side to the other of the light socket and some had it actually soldered into the ribbon sheet on the back of the instrument cluster.

Nice,
So the little lights on the top center, i think i seen 3, are they the new dummy like, light your check engine for instance?

If not what did you do about those?

The check engine light should be the one with the resistor going across it. I eliminated the light and just wired a resistor across the 2 wires in the dash harness.
