Although its not in my mustang, I figured I'd share it here anyways since this section doesn't get a lot of use. I've been autocrossing my SVT Focus all year now and I'm having a freaking blast doing it. Thus far for the year I'm in 1st place in the STN (street tire novice) class. Here's the video... enjoy!

LOL! I'm retiring the SVTF this year from autocross duty and will be running my '94 Cobra. I just picked up a MM HD torque arm, MM panhard bar, bilstein coil-over shocks, MM adjustable sway bar, MM road race LCA's, koni sport SA struts, MM CC plates, MM subframe connectors, and 275 series Kuhmo V710 tires on 17X9 anniversary cobra wheels.

As for the SVTF, it is 100% stock except for a set of DUnlop direzza star spec tires on Euro SVTF wheels. I have almost 100K miles on it now too. :)

I know, what a stupid rule. You are allowed subframes and a TA in ESP, but your not allowed to connect the two of them together!?!?!

Mark, here is everything I have right now for my '94 Cobra. Do you have any recommendations on additional parts? I need a coil-over kit for the front yet and planned to call MM this week to determine what spring rate I need to match the TA. I don't know if I'm going to run the MM coil-over kit though as I don't see why it is so much more than comparable kits such as the strange setup. I will get the springs from MM though.

-17X9 Anniversary wheels with 275 Kuhmo V710 tires
-MM HD TA
-MM panhard bar
-MM CC plates
-MM XL subframe connectors
-MM adjustable rear sway bar
-MM road race LCA's
-Koni SA sport struts
-Bilstein coil over shocks with what I believe are 8" 325lb springs
-BBK strut tower brace

Everything else is 100% stock with 154K miles on it. I'd appreciate any guidance since this will be my first year running the mustang. Do you/have you run the MM stuff in your car(s)?

...runnin the stang. Looks like it's commin along really well. Sorry ta hear your retirin the Focus, stock or not they always looked tight. It seems to me it did ya good, comin in first an all.

I believe that both the Griggs Racing TA and MM TA connect to the sub frame connectors. BUT the Global West TA does not. It has an aluminum plate the fits into the tunnel and is attached to the floor pan and a seatbelt bolt.

While this sounds a little weak to me, I have never heard anyone complain about the strengh or performance of the Global West TA. I have seen the pivot bushing torn to bits...

The trac-link rips floors apart! Sorry I didn't see this earlier, but I have run the MM coilovers (front and rear) in the past, and all I can say is that you get what you pay for. I believe most of the price difference is in the parts that sit on top of the spring; they go to a lot of effort to maintain as much travel as possible. I also ran their panhard along with an EVM tri-link so I could stay in SM. If it weren't for that rule I would be running an MM TA, I really don't like how the EVM unit attaches to the floor, although it serves it's purpose by keeping the car legal in SM and is WORLDS better than the global west piece. As much as I hate steeda, the 5 link is a pretty damn good setup as well, and way easy to install too. Pretty pricey though. Another friend of mine who hillclimbs a mustang in SM runs it and we really like the setup, actually like it more for autocross than my tri-link. With a 325lb rear spring rate, they are probably going to recommend 425lb fronts, but you are getting to the limit with what those bils can handle at that point.

Edit: Just saw you are going to run Koni SA's. Probably fine at 425's. Maximum usually recommends ~100lb. softer rear than front, although after running 475 fronts, 375 rears, I would've gone down to 300 in the rear, but I was running a 3 link, so you will probably want to listen to them. TA generally requires a bit more spring.
