I have made my mind up to buy an H2 just wondering if anyone has one on here or knows someone with an H2.

My cousin has one and they hate it. No power, horrible gas mileage, and blind spots galore.

You still want one...

Well I did a parts buying meet at cochran at the hummer dealer. They did not print fual mileage on the window sticker so I would say that is a dead giveaway what to expect. If money was no object I would say an H1 with a turbo diesel. Or Caddy.

Why did you decide against a new superduty? ANyway, I go for the caddy over the H2 myself.

Thats because the gross vehicle weight is 8600 lbs or something. Its exempt.

How fast do you like to drive on the highway? How aggressive of a driver are you? Are you going to put bigger tires on it?

Look to average around 10-12 mpg unless you have a real heavy foot. IMO thats not that bad at all. They get a lot of attention, much more than an enchilada would. They're great. I'd love to own one of those beasts as a daily. They're 100 times nicer than my H3 all the way around :goodidea:

Drive em and see what you like. They'll deal with you on either, but hummer is struggling to sell with all this OMG GAS bs going on. With the money you save off sticker, you'll more than make due with the cost of gas. I'm also not sure if there is still the big tax loophole with the H2 if you own your own business, because its heavy enough to be considered a commercial vehicle or something.

I don't concern myself with mileage cause I drive what I like. not what some tree hugger says is nicer for the world. I bought a diesel it has a 12,500 gvr try that on for plates. They still typically on a brand new lot give an avg mpg. Why would a company not print it if it wasn't that great. So you would not get discouraged. I like them but, I prefer H1's course they cost twice as much.

Couldn't tell ya why they don't print them off. Same question goes for why conversion vans dont have anything listed either.

H1's ride and drive like shit, and they're 2 years out of production... but damn it do I love them

we have a few used ones. but the incentives on new ones are probably pretty good cause of gas prices
