Took the car the Evolution Performance yesterday the 24th. Long drive woke up at 3am to get there before 9am (4 hours, 43 min drive) Jon Lund, did an amazing job on the car. The drivability of it is great. My setup is:

KB 2.2 at 18-19#'s
Stock Manifolds
Bassani Catted X
Bassani Catback
10" open filter
60# injectors
BAP
Mafia set at 2

11.6 A/F 18* Timing, and 103 octane.

Car rolled out a 565 hp and 533 tq on a mustang dyno on the last pull (only needed 3 total). The car had no cool down. It sat for 10 mins after driving it nearly 5 hours, before they began. The last run also got cut off at 6k rpms. Car still had 300 rpms to go and it was climbing strong. Prob could of made 10-20 more hp. Anyway the car feels great, big thanks to Mike at Wolfpack, Jon Lund, and anyone else who helped along the way. We probably could have gotten a little more aggressive with the tune, but we decided it's better to play it a little safe. It'll be a fun car at the track for sure hah. Just need some ET Streets, and probably a 6pt cage at some point lol.

Also saw their TT GT500 in person, told it went 9.07 at 158 mph. Wasn't aware GT500's were going that fast haha.

Congrats Ed!!! Lund knows his stuff, he did all the tuning on my yellow cobra and he does just about all the tuning on my customers cars! Actually, I just did some upgrades on a sweet sonic terminator today that included his tuning to cap things off:goodidea: Best of luck with the car and let me know if you need anything:goodidea:

Thats a helluva road trip for a tune! I'm surprised that you didn't lay down some bigger numbers with 19psi on a twin screw and 103 octane. Dyno numbers are just numbers though :awsome:

What did the car start at for a baseline?

Its actually gone 8's
something like 8.9 @ 158 or 159. Its on an unopened OEM longblock making 1200 rwhp through an auto, which is the single most impressive thing about it in my book. Remember back when people said that 630 - 650rwhp was going to be the limit of the stock rods? No reason not to double that number and flog it at the track lmao

Well I could have went 11.9-12.0 a/f if I wanted and prob pulled over 600 hp. Just didn't feel like going that borderline on a stock motor. Car made over 500 tq at 2500 rpm. The baseline tune that was in it, was so rich, 10.7 a/f at 15 degrees timing on 93. So the car def. feels alot different now. I'm not too concerned with the dyno #'s. If that last run got the whole way up to 6300ish, It would have made closer to 580ish. Sure there are guys out there pulling 630 hp on 19#'s. Dunno how, stronger runner? Higher reading dyno? Weather that day? Just way too many variables. I do know that my car pulled consistant #'s on the two pulls, so she sounds pretty healthy at the moment. That is a long drive, but if you want it tuned by one of (if not) the best, you got to do what you have to.

nice, now all you gotta do is get some video of that beast :)

I think you might have a point with dyno reading higher/lower. I know some guys make stupid power at 19# like 630whp or something, and I just can't figure how.

Take it to the track, if the traps are there, the power is there :)

Thanks Bo. I'm hoping to get vids this week or weekend. Track is to come shortly, waitin to buy some et streets. I don't think the 295 KDW's on 18's are going to hold too well hah.

hahaha, yeah I don't think those will hold... I didn't think those would hold too well at your old power level either
