My buddy/lil bro and teammate Mike Balaska knocked down the Modified class at PRP Sunday, picking up a cool $1000! He took the tree with him damn near every pass and drove the stripe expertly. He dropped a .002 reaction time on 2 time bracket finals champ Jason Weaver in the semis. All this while posting new personal bests after dropping the exhaust, 11.34 at 117. Now I just need Ares to get the photobucket links up! :D

congrats mike
I'd put up the video but its 66meg and I need to find a way to convert it from a .mov file to something that will be a smaller file size. I'm still amazed at the car picking up 2 tenths by dropping the exhaust and adding a bump in fuel.
Video will be the 11.34 @ 116.91 (11.34@116.91) with a best 1.49 sixty and .001 R/T Not bad for a 347/AOD combo :)

Ed- You can convert .MOV to .MPG simply by renaming the file extension. I just went through this with our JVC Camcorder. No help on re-sizing yet, I'm still working that out myself ;)

No prob I found a program that can convert to any format and size. Posted vid over in Pics/Video forum.

And he's now dropped that ET to an 11.19, this past Friday night.
:3gears::3gears:
And congrats for going 4 rounds in the Bracket Finals Modified class, losing to the eventual winner.
Now I said that car can run a 10.9x and you didn't believe me. Some really good air and it will run it.
Lets gut some weight off that pig finally :thmbsup:

You should have been there ED. I am happy with what the car ran and I'm sure I can get it in the 10's but I don't want to do it by taking stuff out of the car. Plus I had the roll bar custum bent so that I could keep the rear seats in lol. I like it looking like a ol' mustang GT. Plus that 3200 lb pony with an AOD 60 fts at 1.470.
Cobra II thanks for all the help this weekend I couldn't have done it without you.:thumbsup:

Ed, wait til you hear some of the stories. Let's just say it's a good thing for his already abused hood that Sunday got switched to 1/8th mile. :D
And I'm with you, there's some free horsepower/ET sitting in the interior. We can at least get that front pass bucket out. I know the ice bags will be coming now too.
My pleasure brother, good job. Now stop trying to kill me. And I have to admit, after all the problems from the winter, it felt goooooooood to lay the cutoff wheel into the car! :sticktonge:
