This is a longshot. but I am getting no spark.

I was having some surging issues at red lights/stop signs. so i replaced my TPS. i had to give a small, but not too hard tug on my harness to get some slack for the connector. after that, i have gotten no spark.

not with the new tps, not with the old one. not with a new module, coil, or bypassing the msd Box. im pretty sure i am getting spark into the coil, but none out to the distributor. it wont even arc to a screwdriver, so it is Pre-plug wires i believe.

wondering if there is anything else you guys can think of before i pull my upper to look at the harness more in depth?

Thanks.

for anyone who doesnt know, car is an 87 GT with a MAF upgrade.

Im at the point of just thinking of buying a new harness.

u have power at the coil but no spark get a volt meter and put the negative on a good ground and put the positive on the casing of the coil if u r pickin up voltage on the casing the coil could be defective
