buy a camera and take a friend with you next time!!!! this way you will get as many pix as you want.

i tryed that many times, i have even hired people and you would not believe the crap they gave me back...

Not only that but unless they are given permission to stand in a good spot and able to use a ladder or other equipment etc then the effort is plain wasted.

yea only good pic you can get is on a race day when they have the guy u pay for them. Been there done that.

I just want one great shot of the car leaving so i can get a mat made for my desk and i nice wall hanger for my bathroom at home.LOL I think i am gonna hang her up for this year and try to do like a stroker BBF for next year, maybe a whole new car.. Don't really know yet we will see..

why not get pix from the stands??? ive got nice pix and video from friends sitting in the stands filming my previous cars from staging lanes,burnouts,tree,passin threw the 1/4.. they came out nice. i havent been to prp in a yr, have things changed?

Things have not changed but the best angle is looking at the front quarter of the car while launching and it's hard to get those type of shots w/o lotsa work or additional equipment.

I have some pics from the front angle from people taking them and the track photographers. Lately, I seem to prefer the rear 1/4 view for some reason, maybe because I have seen so many of the front view pictures. This is my new desktop picture from Wednsday night :D

Nothing dramatic, just a nice straight launch (even if the car did run like crap, not sure if I have mentioned that in a while).
Tim - Come to race on a race day. When PRP finally gets to uploading the pictures, there are usually some good ones in there. Even better, stop and talk with one of the photographers and work something out.

Tim, I'd be happy to take some shots of your ride next time I'm at the track without my car. I can take 3 pics/second which make taking launch pic that much easier.
