Picked her up a couple months ago from PSPstang! I remember seeing this car at the Irwin show when my buddy owned it, very clean, very nice almost all original aod fox. I have had 4 modular cars and have always wanted a fox but never found one nice enough that I could afford at the time. Been super busy but have had some time over the last couple days to put some parts on and take a few quick pictures.
Right now it has underdrive pulleys, cai, off road h-pipe, dumps, 3.73's and full length subframes:goodidea:

I think I am going to set it up like my white cobra but with a turbo. Nice, quick street & strip car so I can get back out to the track and hit up some cruises, shows and get togethers! I am sure that will just lead into another race car as I would like to get a new mustang next year:hyper:

Start working on it yet?:thmbsup:I put on all the parts I listed in post #1. I also deleted the wiper system, smog, a/c and relocated the p/s pump and put a new radiator in. I pretty much have my plan all sorted out as far as how and what I want to do with the car, just need to start gathering parts:goodidea:

Yep, single turbo on a stock long block to get started...that will make more than enough power to split the block:sticktonge:

Get ready to start fighting underhood heat! Save yourself some work and put header wrap on everything before you put it on, or you'll be pulling everything back off to do it like I'll be doing here shortly. The turbo kit on my Red car likes to melt everything under the hood, especially electric fans. Wiped two of them out in 30 miles! Got a set of LS1 fans from Mater and they're the way to go for sure. I haven't seen any other fan setup that moves as much air as they do.

I am sure there will be bugs to work out, the wrap is definitely a must imo. I have heard the same from a few other people about the ls1 fans...

I like the plan Mike :)
BTW, underhood heat is an issue, but I'd suggest looking at Swain Tech. I'll be sending my downpipe to them this winter and my headers when ever they are off the car down the road.
Definitely some $$, but I think it looks better and you won't have problems that can happen with wrap (ex. drive in the rain, etc.).
I'm sure your already planning it big enough to support big power down the road, but I'd also suggest that :)

Thanks guys! I really don't have the extra time or money to go crazy with the car but I am looking forward to just having something to toy with again! I don't get much enjoyment from a street stang having a bike and all but I do miss hanging out with my customers and friends and will be looking forward to doing that next year! I will use this thread or start another to post progress pictures for anyone interested, getting ready to go internet shopping now:hyper:

Sounds good. If you decide on selling any of the A/C stuff, let me know. I could use another compressor and I would like the line off that car that ran over the intake. It was real nice. Did you cap all that stuff off to keep moisture out?
