I went to the Bad Boyz event with my buddy in the Vista. My first run ever in the quarter mile was. 2.41 60ft ran a 14.1 @102.65. My reaction time was a .0013. The car spun alot because I ran street tires. My second run was a 1.91 60 ft ran a 13.2 @103.81 and reaction was .1331. Heated the tires up a little more for the next pass.I guess thats not bad for my first quarter mile. I have ET streets but drove the car from Butler. Didn't want to mess them up. What do you guys think?? Any pointers? I've messed around at the FLD's and have even gone to Sunset. I give this a 2x:goodidea:. I can see now how you guys are hooked. I want to go faster because this is addicting. Please any inside pointers welcomed!!!

The ET Street's should get you into the 1.6x 60' range, should help you a little more with your time But I dunno, it may be possible to break 12.99's with the right suspension setup.

I think the springs are bad because she bottoms out a little on bumps and the drivers side sits about 3/4" lower. What should I do about that?

If those are the DOT legal ET Streets, you should be fine driving on them from Butler. My buddy drives from Sarver on his. Just remember to add air for the drive to and from the track, and drop them down for racing. They're pretty durable. Or, if you have them on a spare set of wheels, bring a jack and change them at the track. Throw 'em in the Vista! :D
Good site for learning about bracket racing is www.staginglight.com (http://www.staginglight.com)
Even if you don't want to bracket race, check out the section called Reaction Time clinic. It's nice to be able to tree your opponent, especially if it gives you a holeshot win!
