Been there, done that. Initially, its easy to sign up for it online. Have some of your old and recent paystubs ready. If I recall, they pay you based on the highest paid quarter of the year???

Usually takes about 2-3 weeks to get your first check, I believe the maximum payout is 497 a week, which also is based on your income and however they do there calculations. They also allow you to sign up for direct deposit.

UC benifits suck. I couldnt afford my gas bill on the Max.

You said you worked there for some time, you should be eligible for uc benefits.
