Unfortunately its nothing new. The lack of moderation (in terms of keeping things civil) is one of the problems over there. They let people just bash and beat each other like a bunch of school yard bullies with no repercussions so its no surprise that it just gets worse and worse. I used to practically live on the corral way back in the day and I RARELY go there anymore.

I do agree with the minimum post count to sell stuff there though. I hate seeing something that I'm interested in only to see the guy has just a few post. If they have a lot its easier to make a judgment call on if they are a reliable seller or not.

In this case, I'm going go out on a limb and say that forum fills in the latter of that statement. It took longer for them to bitch and moan and say oh look how he's a newbie on our forum (which is why John can't post pics in the classified ads, making their statements completely redundant).

People like that piss me off. I hope they have fun playing in the shallow end of the gene pool.

I have over 3000 posts and a 28+ trader feedback rating using the same username on the Corral. Just like any other place, the more people you have, the more knuckleheads there will be.
When I was swapping my engine for the first time I got good tech help there. Just bypass the BS that doesn't interest you. If it's tech you want, there's plenty there. If you want to mix it up with some people about subjects other than Mustangs, just look through the lounge and you'll find everything from politics to dating to whatever you want to bring up.
I actually think this site is kinda rigid with the rules it has. The Corral is a free for all. About the only way to get banned there is for ripping people off in the classifieds or doing something extremely stupid. That's why I like it.

That is exactly why I started this board, there was no local place to chat without being bombarded with a bunch of smart ass comments from people who sit around all day beating their dicks and getting off on being an internet tough guy.
