Blown Sony STR-V444ES receiver

I will let it go for $50 OBO with both remotes. It can be fixed but I just dont have the time so I am looking for a new high end unit. The flat rate repair is $220 on Sony's web site. It plays highs and mids but no bass.

More or less you are buying two remotes and getting a free receiver. The RM-LJ304 remote is worth $40.

Damn you guys almost got my good receiver for nothing. I spoke to Sony and they said to let it sit unpluged for 1 to 2 hours. They asked me a few questions and I told them I heard a loud pop out the speakers before it failed. It turns out the sat had a bad signal and caused the loud crack. This crack caused the amps to clip and go into a full protect. :thmbsup: I am going to beat this thing tomorrow to see is Sony is correct but so far I have it hooked up and its back to full out put.
