There is a big difference between destroying the second amendment and tighter gun control. I'm all for gun ownership, hell I'm thinking about buying one myself, but I think that anything that keeps guns out of the wrong persons hands is a good thing.

I agree 100%. If we were to have tougher restrictions and bans on certain types of firearms, it does not stop the wrong people from buying them. It just drives the price of those weapons through the roof and keeps them high demand for the banned or restricted items.

Here is a true example of gun control: A house was raided in my neighborhood and the police found not one, not two, but five stolen / illegal hand guns in the home with a sum of money and drugs. By law, no one in the home was allowed to own a firearm.

In this case, do you think a tougher firearm restriction / ban would have prevented them from obtaining a firearm. Nope. It will keep law abiding citizen from protecting themselves and family. To them a firearm is like paper towel. Once it's used, they just throw it away. Just think, what if these people were your neighbors....

Tighter gun control does nothing but make it harder for law abiding citizens to own them, criminals welcome gun restrictions, they would think twice about attempting anything if they thought you were armed. This notion you have for tighter gun control is amazing when you obviously know nothing about buying a gun, it's not a cash and carry deal as the dems would like you to beleive. As I have stated before, there are over 20,000 gun laws on the books today, you can have a million laws and if not enforced than what's the purpose. The dems agenda is total ban and confiscation, luckily for us almost 1/3 of the people own guns and over 50% of households have at least one. I just say when they try, "Molan Labe"

Pfft, fook those gun control freaks. When those suck heads want my guns they better bring back up cause they are NOT getting mine without a fight. Curious george can take his gun control and shove it. When they had all that bs control before the "bad guys" still had sub auto's and then some.
