A few of us went to Quaker City tonight, and I finally got my car back into the 11s! This run was on 24psi, and 10.0 a/f's!
Here's the breakdown of the slip
60' 1.751
330' 4.993
1/8 7.628
mph 93.36
1000' 9.874
1/4 11.893
mph 114.51
There's still a lot left in the car! 10.0 a/f's no tuning done yet! I still have a problem in the top end, it breaks up a little bit! Hopefully I can get this problem solved and get a few more passes in it before the end of the season!

VERY nice times!
I'm learning quickly how difficult it is to get a FWD down the track. It's nothing like a RWD.

Yeah its a lot harder to get traction in a FWD! Its a lot of fun though!

I was there and got to see your car run. It was impressive!!! 10-1 A/F ratio a lil rich ??? Unless you are running that much fuel to keep detonation down? I try to hold 11.5-1 at full load.

I am running my back up motor since I cracked a sleeve in the 2.5L. Struggling with a new rear suspension and missing gears with the 5spd I managed a best of 12.7 at 107MPH.

I'll have the C4 and 2.5L back in for spring be fun to go head to head at Quaker City. I love a challenge and don't mind to loose.

10.0 afr's is way too rich! I dont have a tuning device on there yet! Once I get mine installed I'll be running 12.5afr's falling to about 12.0 on High Octane Mode (HOM) with the stage 3 PCM I run. That will be on straight race gas also! I think that will really wake this car up!

It's a stock 97 ranger 2.3L with a big valve head. Stock cam. Motor is fitted with turbo rods and pistons from a 87 t-bird. This is my backup motor and tranny in the truck as of now. The 2.5L with crower rods wiesco pistons, big valve head with a big cam running a C4 tranny behind it is what I usually run. I got a lil to wild and cracked a sleeve with 34PSI of boost. It is ready to put back in the truck, plans as of now it will go back in this winter.

I do all my own tunning with SCT I got the PRP. I run 79lb injectors 90MM maf large FMIC custom intake ect....

Right now it's a holset H1C. I will be going to a hybrid hx40 this next spring.

U gona be at quakercity this friday night? I just put the big cam in the 2.3L and made a couple 112MPH passes with a best 12.3 E/T with bad clutch slippage in 3rd and 4th. Got a new 3 puck disk going in tonight and will run at quaker city this friday night to see if I can break 11's. I had to do some suspension work since the last time I was out there.

EDIT>> Just seen there track is closed for the season. I may be able to run at thompson yet this year if all goes well.
