Very cool! Were you on the site when I posted pictures of my Dads? He sold it to the neighbor though. Had the green block and 3 speed. I have a Hydromatic for one of those if you need it.

My problem is that I like too many different kinds of cars. I love the modern muscle cars and you can never go wrong with the 60's muscle cars. However, my favorites are the old school coupes and sedans. I recently just picked up a 1925 Model T that I will be doing some work to over the winter. It's road worthy the way it is now, but I need to change alot of things to make it to my liking.

I like everything, muscle, imports, lowriders etc. When i'm not messing with my stang i like to toy around with my civic. I've owned 3 other imports(all acura integras) and this is my first civic. There fun in a diffrent way.

i am into restoring mustang police package cars (ssp's) to all stock in service condition.
the key is doing them with all the period correct equipment which can be challenging to find.
my friend recently sold his fully restored mca gold award 92 CHP stang with over 150K miles for 17K!
i have been doing some odds and ends on this one
1993 Nebraska Car 5spd car 103K original miles-rust free
whenever i stray from mustangs i always seem to have very bad luck.

As I moved up to my Cobra I have had a few fun cars. This is not every car I have owned just the fun ones.
82 Z28 with a 350 out a a corvette (First thirdgen year)
95 Talon TSI AWD (Everyone thought it was nice but it was a dog!)
90 Iroc Camaro (5 speed 305 TPI damn fast for a stock car back in the day)
93 Stealth R/T TT (I loved this car! Only stock part left were the turbos)
05 Impreza STI (Quick but not fast. lol)
03 Cobra (Oh baby!!)
Next will be a Blue or Gray C6 Zo6 when the time comes.
I LOVE Vipers. a Gen II GTS or Gen III (coupe or vert) will always have a soft spot in my heart. I've never been in love with a car for as long as I have with the terminator, and I couldn't swing the pricetag on a viper... and I got screwed out of an early GT500 deal at MSRP, so here I am. I couldn't be happier about it :)
When the cobras time comes, I really want another snake of some kind to fill it's void

I got the rear out of a 1987 formula 350 / auto hard top ws-6 , its a disc rear with 3.42s. the car was literally twisted to the point the roof and the floor were torn so I parted it

If its the rear I am thinking about it sucks. COuld not find gears for it. Austrialian rear. I had it in my '89 Z-28 many years ago. It had the 1LE package.

Since water flows down the drian the other way in Austriala, would that rear burn the left tire if it were a peg leg?
Yea, that was funner in my head. Really stupid after I took the time to type it.... :bike:

Dude, remember Nick's left tire would spin first before his limited slip would kick in and spin the right? That water thing was always my theory.

Yes, they can sound horrible if done "wrong" but so can a mustang. I'd like to think I know what parts sound "right" :)

Ive heard they are hard to find parts for but there was a guy on thirdgen.org that had different ratios for sale a while back for them. the 3.42s are stock and thus far I've had no quams with it, so Ill beat it till it blows apart , I have had 13 fbodys from 82-92 over the years and almost all the standard ten bolt rears failed. I dont no about the water issue but they (the tires) both smoke pretty well, I run 255/45/16 nittos.

I recently purchased a 1980 BMW 320i 5 spd car. It is a fun little car that I am starting to research a little more and looks like it will be allot of fun. Has a few minor issues from setting in a garage for several years, but I am sorting through it all. I need to get some photos up :) Any other classic BMW lovers? (Clark doesnt count :D )

I have been into the 80's and early 90's turbo Dodges for a while now. I have owned 2 of them, can't beat the cost to performance ratio IMO. I also have a thing for the big ass 70's cars for some reason, not fast, but still have character. I have rally been Mopar muscle guy all of my life, but liked Ford trucks, which got me into Fords too Fox body stangs being my Favorite Ford cars.

Yeah, I think that you can make any cars sound bad. I will say that the Viper needs to rev higher than stock to sound really good though. I just love those cars, they're just timeless IMO.

that's an 08 and not an 09, which means its slow, soft & doesn't get some of the STI body treatment, but its basically what I'd do if I had one, but with those wheels in satin black possibly w/ a red pinstripe on the lip.
Here is an 08/09 STI set up pretty much like what I had in mind (this week lol)

Wow, that black STI looks sick. I really wish they would have made STI wagons before now so I could pick up a decent used one.

I bought a '97 Jetta GT with 65K on it for $2700 in February. Couldn't be happier,it's fun little car to drive. Not a whole lot of motor, but it sticks in corners well. unny thing it, it replaced a 1990 Pontiac Grand prix with 140K on it. Almost the same as your Lumina.
