Well, I'm finally swapping my new heads on. I have to pickup a fuel line disconnect tool tomorrow and then the intake will be off. I want to do a leak down test before I yank the heads, but as soon as that is done I'll be ready to pull these AFR165's and put my new AFR 185's on. I need to get some shims for my shaft mount rockers as the contact area is too far toward the rocker side of the the valve tip. Here's a few pics of the problem:

Here's where I'm at right now... headers are unbolted, accessory brackets are undone, valve cover bolts are all out, upper intake is off. All I need to do is pull the fuel lines and lower and then the heads.

Rob- I'm trying man... I'm trying. I have two weeks to get the heads on, order pushrods, and tune it. Its going to be close but I hope to make it.
Wick- Right now I plan to keep them. So far every piece of my old 302 combo that I have removed from the car I kept which means I have a full H/C/I combo here that put my heavy 'vert into the 12.0's just waiting for a new home. I've really taken a liking to autocross and I hope to buy another 94-95 and put the AFR165's and all of my other old parts on it and make it into an autocross car. This old H/C/I combo I had would be perfect for the autocross as it pulled from idle to 6K with no problems.

Thanks! The only problem is I don't have the funds for a new car and I have no where to put it. :(

HAHAHAHHAHAHA I hear ya man. Times are getting tough everywhere. My work is slowing way down too due to the steel making industry moving out of the country. Thank you Mr. Economy!!!!!
