View Full Version : Paypal question? i kinda got screwed

well i just recently purchased some heads from another forum and used paypal. Well i got the heads in today and i noticed they didnt have the caps for them, and i call him back and he said he dont have them. Im told i cant use the heads without the caps and cant just take the caps off another 4.6l motor because they are all different, and Ford doesn't sell them!

So im thinking if he doesnt return my money im going to have to turn it in to paypal?, so what happens after i turn it in? thanks

its just becomes a dispute. they will contact both parties and try to resolve it. being that you bought if off a forum, and the dude wont take a return you might be screwed. i know on ebay you have to have a return policy so its in writing.
the best think would be to hope the dude quits bein a d1ck and just lets you send them back.

paypal only covers there butt if you dont recieve the item from the seller. since you got them you may end up getting screwed on that deal. if you open a dispute, they will contact the seller and he will have 30 days to reply.

welltechnically yes i did get them but they were not complete like they were suppose to be

sadly paypal only truley cares that "something" was recieved. buddy of mine had a problem and since the seller had proof an "item" was delivered paypal cleared the dispute.


good luck! hope the guy comes through.

good new i talked with the guy and he said he was gonna refund most of my money besides shipping and what not, now i need to find another set of pi heads

glad to see your problem should get resolved. just curious, what do you mean by "caps" ?

the things that go over top of the pi cams and get bolted down to the heads, guess they are all a little different or something
