Anyone know the guy that has a black fox downtown - well, probably technically considered uptown... I talked to him yesterday after he complimented me on my truck when i parked in the Manor Garage - he was the parking attendant on the second floor....

I saw/heard his car again today walking back from lunch and it reminded me....

ahhh...... i thought there would be a good chance that you were on the site...

heard the car today... sounds darn good!

Sorry I didn't have much time to chit-chat... I was on my way to my Actuarial Exam and had about 30 pages of formulas running through my head....

No problem. You gotta take care of business.
With all this nice weather we've been having I've been taking it to work pretty regularly. Soon as the snow flies it won't come out 'til spring.

I've met a lot of car guys while working at the Manor.

One guy has a TT Mazda RX7 that puts 350hp to the wheels. That's out of 1.3 liters.
Another guy has an 03 Cobra.
Someone else just bought a super low mile Fox hatch that's as nice as the day it was built.
Etc.......etc....
At first I thought your truck was a Lightning. Then I took a closer look. Damn nice truck. I'd like to see the other ride you were telling me about.

That one, nothin' special :rotflol:

I saw a white Fox in Oakland today....GT, Cobra rear bumper and LX lights. It was nice to hear and smell on my way to boring didactics

Hope the exam went well Bish. I'm sure it feels nice to be done, my last one was two days, 8hrs. first, 7hrs. second and damn my head hurt :(

Thanks man! Damn shame it was so dirty... If i can say so myself, she looks amazing all cleaned up! Too bad last winter took such a toll on the paint, and i expect this winter won't be any more gentle... The thing didn't have a single scratch in it when i bought it, and its got a few road marks here adn there now.. :(

As far as my Trans Am, that'd be the one in my sig... She's a fun little mother, but won't be around much longer :(

I see your Fox quite a bit. I work at the County Office Building right next door to that Manor garage.

Looks good.

Whats up man... I am the guy with the Lincoln LS that parts down at the Boardwalk. I drove my coupe the other day. There was a dude peeking under the 4" hood when I went out to it for lunch.... lol

Thanks. It's one of the cleaner Foxes around and runs great. I've swapped the stock engine for a GT40 head/intake 306 and converted from AOD to a T5. There's countless other stuff so I'm not gonna list everything.
I've been at the Manor for a few months now. I'll stay until somebody with more seniority bumps me. Nice to finally have a steady location after 10 years with Alco Parking.

There's no place like the Manor garage. Lawyers, police officers, defendants, city, county, state employees all in the same place. Keeps it interesting.

Coralcoupe, I haven't been down at the Boardwalk in a while and probably won't be. At the Manor I'm always running around, which I like a lot better than just sitting in a booth like at the Boardwalk.
Woulda been nice to check out your coupe though.

For everyone else, here's a couple pics of my Fox.

Small world - I work right next to you guys in the Courthouse. Mine definitely isn't as sharp as Frank's but if you see a dark green fox cruisin' down Grant or Ross street, it's probably me.

Here's a recent pic after a wash:

Nice GT daviac. That is one of my favorite color combos on the GT's. Pretty nice Volvo too. What model is that ?

Here's my Nov.-Apr. daily driver.

Rio - I'm the IT guy for the Department of Court Records, Criminal Division (former Clerk of Courts office). How about you? And I'm up for lunch someday.

Frank - The mustangs not in bad shape but the paint could use a little touch up. The Volvo belongs to my wife. It's a 2004 S40 LSE with a 1.9l Turbo (which makes me ineligible for the 2.3 mafia :().

I don't get to go out for lunch. If either of you is ever on a break, feel free to mosey up to B floor at the Manor and shoot the breeze.

Rio, those are some great #'s with GT40 irons. Are they ported ? I'm sure the S trim helps, but still commendable with the iron heads.
I haven't been back to the track since swapping the drivetrain in my car. The last #'s I got were with the stock AOD and converter and completely stock engine. Only changes were 4:10 gears and full exhaust. Got it to a best of 14.09 @ 98. Respectable for what it was. I'm hoping for bottom 13's at minimum and mid to high 12's the way it sits now, and if I drive it right.
I still haven't practiced launching the T5 yet. There's always next season.

If anyone likes the background of the first two pics I posted, it's downtown off of Ft. Duquesne Blvd. across from the Goodyear. It's a parking lot with the side of the building you see at one end. Go on a weekend when the lot is empty and snap away.
I think it's a great background for car pics.
