I am not blaming anyone. Period. The car ran a 10.60. This is what happens when you push stock parts to the limits. Shit breaks.

How much total timing? What octane? What A/F ratio were you tuned for?

Not sure on the timing or A/F ration. SGS tuned but it was tuned for 110 and thats what was in it. The timing and A/F were on the safe side though.

Not sure, But dont they have, like locking head gaskets that have a ring that sets in the head or some other way of preventing this?

hell ya!! they just came out! specially made for honda but they work in ford too! they supposed to hold like a million hp with those puppys!

I know when I blew one of mine right before Carlisle this year, it rattled for about half a second and I had an antifreeze coated windshield. This this should have melted pistons by looking like this.


This was right before my tune and the BTM failed. I hit a full 30* timing with 14psi boost. HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA

I was amazed when we pulled that head off today and seen how bad that thing was blown apart.
