i would try gunbroker.com, although i have been watching prices for a few weeks and even on gunbroker the prices seem like they have been going up.

i was at pa police supply on columbus day and he only had two in stock.

i'm buying a bushmaster thru markles police supply in pittsburgh-getting it tuesday.

Your going to have a hard time finding one now, go to www.ar15.com, check out the equipment exchange. They have some of the best and most well stocked dealers you will find anywhere, that is probably going to be your best bet.

Sportsman's Warehouse on Mt. Nebo Road in the North Hills carries Bushmaster and Arma-Lite ARs. They're prices are pretty fair too.

Why the hell is everyone SOOOOOOOO concerned with making sure they buy a gun in the next 5 min. since Obama got elected??? Do people actually think the guns are the first thing he's going after? The economy is so F'd up, it will be years before he has any time to deal with anything else. Oh and there's that whole Iraq thing he's got to deal with too. Get you head out of your asses people, your guns aern't going anywhere!

It is their given right for now. Who knows what those liberals will do. They may say to help fund some shit idea of theirs to tax ammo or guns outrageously. That wouldnt take long to pass now would it?

Right, because Clinton had sooo many other issues to deal with before gun control when he was elected back in '92...SOOOO many other issues that he didn't get to gun control until 93 and 94 (Brady Bill in 92, AWB in 93).

I think it will happen within the first year of his term, it's not only him you have to worry about it's the likes of pelosi, schumer etc that will be pushing hard for this. My advice is buy now while you can, cause it's coming, and if you don't think so, well that's on you. I remember the 1989 Bush ban on importation, the clinton 94 AWB. I was of age and did'nt act on either of the two bans, cause I thought just like you. I did much better this time around.

That and...isn't it GOOD that more people are buying guns and joining our ranks, and hopefully becoming politically active gun owners? Shouldn't we encourage the growth of our group, instead of shitting on it? If Obama's election is a spark to get people to actually buy a rifle and get out there and go shooting, well, at least we got something good out of it.

My boss bought a S&W AR-15 at Sportsman's Warehouse today...they've got a few left, and they aren't price gauging like everyone else is right now.

Eh...I'd stick with the ABCs (Armalite, Bushmaster, Colt) and other better name ARs (S&W, Rock River Arms). I've heard some really bad things about Olympic's stuff.

It is one of the first things he is targeting. My boy hoops with him on the weekend. I heard he is all over the firearms.

I personaly would'nt own an Olympic, but if it's the only thing available now I'd buy it, you can always pickup another down the road "hopefully". I would look to either get a Colt or LMT, preferably an LMT. LMT is about as close as you can get to mil-spec, 4150 chrome-lined chamber and bore, all barrels bolts and carriers are MP tested, mil-spec fire control group, these guns are built tp perform, as well as Colts. What I don't like about Colts is the oversize fire control group, other than that they are also built to perform. However they are close to double the price of what your lookoing at and probably impossible to find right now.

Mine is a century, sure its not a colt or Armalite or bushmaster but it is military surplus upper and lower. Heavy barrel. If i want something different I open up brunells and order an upper reciever and turn it into an mp4. or whatever else I want to think of lol.
