This car rips in stock form, especially for a boat! Much faster now:goodidea:

Thanks guys! They just left with the car, you should have seen the look on their faces when I poped the hood! Everything fit perfectly, Vortech does a sweet job engineering there kits! The self contained unit makes for a little friendlier install imo and it is almost totally quiet. :awsome:

Very nice! I raced one like that out on 79 close to your shop a couple years ago. Guess I better be more careful next time :awsome: Does anyone do custom tunes for those cars yet? I was looking into them a while ago and it didn't seem like they were having much luck getting complete control over the computer.

I was going to ask the same thing, does the car idle and run ok with the tune vortech supplied?
Man, he did the cogs too. What kind of boost level will he see?

I drove it before and after the install and the car runs and drives great imo! No idle issues or anything like that, pretty good for a canned tuned! I wasn't however able to really get on it much to load test the car like I needed too, dark and rainy isn't a good way to test a 500+ hp car and they needed the car by Sunday morning....
The mini cog is standard on this kit and I like it:thmbsup:
and it is almost totally quiet. :awsome:
aw man! I was hoping it would have a big whistle so I'd know it was there if I ever ran into it on the road! The car and the work looks great!
Note to self: don't f with sneaky black charger
