2.35hp/ci....
That dont impress me much ;) 140 cu/in x 2.35 hp/cu = 329 HP, I got that covered
Seriously, those are insane engines. There was a nice write up on them in Drag Illistrated a while ago. As I understood it, they are supposed to be pretty robust too.
Looking at the new edition of DI they have some "used" but freshened one on SALE!!!!!!!!
811 cu/in - 1800 NA HP $69,600.00 Ran 6.60's and low 6.70's @210 mph in a 2375 car. Expected to run 6.20/6.30 in a 1900# dragster.
832 cu/in - For some reason this one "only" made 1810 HP in NA form, this one is a good deal at $63,000.00 only 12 runs and freshened.
Brodix is also now making a 5.00 bore spacing block.
These seem to make the Shafiroff 600" stuff look real cheap at $25K (1225 HP). They do sell 700" / 1900 HP engines but they are on spray.
Steve Schmidt is also running a special on 737" / 2000 HP combo for $59,500.00 and you can take $1,000/00 off if you order now :D
It's stupid rediculous the power you can have delivered by truck these days.
