I've decided to stay with a manual transmission in my car, I know it will be slower at the track but the car sees much more street time than track time so I think this is the best way to go for me. I want a T-56 with an upgraded 26 spline input shaft and a quicktime bell housing as well. I'd also need the cross member and drivehshaft to put it in this car. Let me know if you or anyone else has one for sale. Once I find one my TKO will be for sale.

A standard TKO (pre TKO500/600) with a promotion Kustom clutch and aluminum flywheel.

I don't think you can shift a non-faceplated/proshifted TKO much faster.
I shifted my regular TKO and current TKO600 about the same--just let off gas for just a split second to get it to shift.
Since I've had my 600 fixed by ProMotion I really like it Paul. With a 3.50 gear and 28" tire I actually wish I would have got the less OD version but the other gear spacings are fine with the turbo and its lighter than a T56.
Maybe look into the TR6060 version if you're going with a 6 gear? Better synchros and gearing from what I've seen.
