in my truck. new it would happen sooner or later. 6 speed and 41s, something had to go. the pinion gear snapped in half and got bound up inside. so just wondered if anyone had any 99+ rears laying around? it a sterling 10.25 but a 10.5 will work. i need one with 4.10 gears

look on car-part.com have had good luck there for finding parts.

how bad is it? can you just rebuild it?

yea i can and thats probably what im going to do. i just figured id throw it up on here to see if anyone had anything cheap.

And here I thought you were a prefesional driver? Havent heard of anyone blowing one apart guessing ya were horseing around in it a bit. You have a shit load of wheel hop with the lift so, I'd say rebuild it and do it right with better axles and gears.

What all older ford truck stuff did you have left? Picking up a solid 78 f150 ranger after the darkmas is over lol.

i have a 4 speed swap with transfer case,dana 44 front,dana 60 rear. both have 355 gears

It has a 4 speed in it 9" outback and a 44 front with those 3.55's lol. Like to find a 60 for the front later on.
