I know there are at least a few others here with newer truck with 20" tires / wheels. My Ram came with the Goodyears, and I've never been impressed with their traction in the snow, pretty much a passenger car all season. Was fine in 4 x 4 but c'mon, three snowflakes shouldn't make you pull the lever ;)
Cooper is now out with a new design for the bigger sizes, Zeon LTZ's. I paid $670 total for four out the door.

I've always run Cooper tires on my trucks, was happy these came along when I needed tires. I hope these hold up and drive like the old Discover AT's I always ran. So far they are great on the highway, real quite, ride nice, etc. Might have to go try and get them stuck :D

Where did you get these tires at?
Is that $670 out the door include mount/balance/tax/etc...?

Long story I geuss. I first found them at discount tire for $160.00 each with free shipping at the time. (I now see they are up to $170)

So I have a little bit of a hook-up at a place sort of local out here. I call him up to see about a price on mounting and balancing with these as carry in. He tells me he can get those for me, and comes up with $335.00 pair out the door (I bought rear two first, fronts 2 weeks later)

As I said, I paid $335.00 / pair, cash out the door. This place insn't one that nickle and dimes for mount, balance, valve stems, whatever, their price includes everything. Not sure I could get you that same price, but even at $170 / tire plus mount and balance these tires are a good deal compared to the goodyears and some of the others out there.

That's why I posted it up. Really couldnt find any other 20's with a tread like this without being $300 / tire. I thought you guys had them too.

I had trouble finding tires I liked too. I ended up with the nitto terra grapplers but it would have been a coin flip between the two. Both look mean on the trucks. The only bad thing the nittos did when they were new was pick up those little rocks and flung them up. After putting a few miles on them they stopped.

I know this is an old thread but I wanted to see how you liked these tires after having them for a few years. How many miles did you get out of them? Road noise?
Im looking at them or these Falkens....

I still like them (mostly).
No real road noise to speak of. I'm happy there.
Wear isnt what I want, but I'm used to Discover's or similar that wear REALLY well. I'm likely the worst at watching what kind of milage I get out of things like tires, but think I have ~20K on them now.
I'm not sure any tire in this size is going to have good mud / snow traction, but these arent great in those conditions. Again, likely based on other tire expeditions, but get them in the mud and you are reaching for the 4x4 lever. Same with Snow, get a good covering on the road, and either be real careful, or pull the lever.
I had actually looked at the Falkens as well, seems like they might be a bit better tread.
In general, if my truck was newer, I would buy a nice set of 17" wheels and get a real tire on there. I still might the next time I need tires.
All that said, these tires arent bad. I just think it's the wide 20" tire in general more than the brand. For sure they are a leap better than the Goodyears that was on it.

Thanks for that info Bob! I can get the Falkens for $856 a set delivered to my door but im gonna keep researching to see what a good all around tire will be. The Falkens have a 50K mile warranty which is a plus.

I have the Coopers on mine too with about 25k on them now and can easily see getting another 10-15k out of them. Road noise has become harsh, but I have not had the time to rotate them for at least the last 15k.
I have been wanting to do the semi wheels on my dually. These would be a great option for me I think. Do they come in larger sizes? I want a 35" tall tire. Found 4 22.5 wheels, just gotta get em turned down to 22" now. Bought the adptor plates also. Polishing over the winter......
