I always describe it as mecca to muslums carlisle is to stang owners, it is insane how big it is, people drive all the way from the west coast to go to it, best stang show of the year. they have stangs, and just about every other type of ford there to look at, plus you can buy parts if you want to, its a good time

theres a bunch of us driving out the morning of friday june 5th and it runs till sunday, dont have to stay the whole weekend if you dont want, its about a 3hour drive if you do the speed limit, but we shave a "little bit" of time off of that. lol

Oh yes...was thinking about 18 or 20. So many rims to look at its crazy. Not sure what i want. So much to choose from when it comes to that.

dont worry about that, you gotta start somewhere, mine was mostly stock when I got it, biggest thing is really do your reasearch before you buy somethin cause you dont want to be replacing stuff all the time, n it should be sumthin u like too

Welcome Pop's! Even if you ain't got the cash now, check out http://www.newtakeoff.com/ lot's of GT parts there that bolt right up to your sixxer. They sometime list on ebay for a bit cheaper or you can call and ask for a better price. Once you start it'll be hard to quit though. I wasn't going to mod our 08, was going to drive it...a yr later there's almost $3k in goodies on it - still less than a GT, still slower than a GT - but I'm catching up.

Thanks Scorpio, have been to the newtakeoff site. they do have alot of ideas i would like to do. Love the pony package look on your car. I am planing on doing that after i get the rims. yea i was just looking...too bad they dont have black chrome. : (

cant beat 4 18x9 black saleens with tires for like 800 bux tho.

if they had black chrome id be all over that.

Yes, they do have great deals there. Most likely i will buy from them. But I also know where there are a set of 18" Zenetti "five" that the only thing wrong with them is that they have yellow traffic paint on the tires. Not on the rims, just on the tires. I didnt see what size tires were on the rears but the fronts had 275/40 zr 18. The backs looked alot fatter...cool set of rims. All Chrome.
