Jap car seats in a foxbody?

Im needing some front seats for my stang. Fox seats are getting harder and harder to find around me. But just on a whim i checked on craigslist and found several civic and interga seats for anywhere from 30-150 bucks in pretty decent shape. Has anyone tried to incorporate seats out of a honda or acura in a mustang? Just wondering...if you have done it....got any pics?

PS if you have any non-ford seats that you are using that would be cool too. I found a set of black cloth miata seats for cheap.

ive never seen it done but i think honda makes great seats in most of there cars.... crx and integra seats are sweet

Guys start pm'ing me with prices lol. Only reason im considering some of the honda seats is because ive found a pair or decent integra seats with tracks for 50 bucks. Im on a super low budget since im still out of work. But hey if you got seats pm me with prices. Those scat seats are nice..but at 300 bucks it aint gonna happen.

Get a Set of Seats out of an MDX or a CL if you are going the route of Honda seats.... the Acura buckets are comfortable as hell, and have some nice support... heavy though

But thats for the info. This is trying to be done cheap as possible. I actually found a set of 91 Teg GSR seats for 50 bucks.


Also the seats out of an MDX are WAY to tall.

I'd try and go for a set of Stang seats to fit from any year. Although for the buck you probably couldn't beat gettin the integ seats. Would be different, I don't think I've seen it done yet, that I know of. See what the lowest prices for the Stang seats would be first and then if last resort go with the integs!
