to my knowledge it's been 4 sale for a number of years now. i recently heard that a couple of racers bought it and they will officially take over after this up coming season.

I hope that is true... I wonder why they have all the equipment and the picture of the track and other things up for auction then? Why in the hell would the new owners not want all the equipment? Am I missing something here? I'm really bummed.:frown:

not sure and i could totally be wrong...thats just what i heard. i personally don't want to see it close, prp is a joke and qcr is our next best option

Guy's your missin the picture here this is a foreclosure auction! That's it unless this is a BIG UNLESS NHRA steps up to the plate on the 24th and out bids everyone or some other heavy hitter steps in the game if not it's over! It will be another PID, history...

We always have the F.L.D's but those just aren't the same. If they only had times and speed at the FLD's it would be so much better. I'm not knocking them at all I think its a great thing they've done I would just like to see time and speed slips.

It would take 3 Mil. to buy it insure and get the place ready to open in the spring!
And there a insurance issue with the jersey barrier and the new stands being so close to the track..

I'm really corn fussed!!! I don't know what to think.. I hope they still have it this year at QCR.. It was a great success last year I thought..
