-You will have to carry a photo ID firearms license.
I already carry a photo permit.

-A training class is required to be licensed.
There should be, its a ****in gun!

-Disclosure of your storage method is required for license.
How about the heading they used "child access prevention"

-A thumb print is required for license.
I have zero problems with that.

-Every sale recorded by the federal government.
They record handguns now.

-If you move, and don't tell the Attorney General within 60 days, you are a criminal.
They do this with DL now. No big stink.

-If a firearm is stolen and you don't report it, you are a criminal.
If its stolen and not reported, you're an idiot.

-There will be no grandfathered firearms.
I would imagine 99% of current gun information would be transferred over.

-If you do not obtain a license and report every firearm you currently own, you are a criminal.
Try driving around in your car without registration and a license.

-There will be a license fee and a fee for the "services" provided at purchase time.
Not surprised permit fees.

Licenses must be renewed every 5 years.
Thats how my carrying permit is now.`

I'm sure people got into an uproar when the gov. started making people register their cars and obtain licenses to drive them. I'm surprised it took this long.
They are still not trying to keep them out of the hands of people that have no reason why they shouldn't have them. You have a history of boozing and driving you don't drive. You have a history of violence, I don't want you to have one. Right or not.

You have no problem with this:rolleyes:, You will have a problem when they knock down your door and take them, cause they will. Registration=Confiscation

I for one will not comply with this BS legislation, if it means I'm a criminal then so be it. What the govt needs to do is stop F**king with law abiding citizens and go after the real problem.

This bill is not about gun control, it's about people control:mad:

dosent really matter. If they ban handguns it wont be long before all firearms are banned. Im in the military, and although I swore to obey the orders of the president, I also swore to uphold the constitution, which contains the 2nd Amendment, and was put in place before any president.

I dont see our gov't ever coming door to door though to collect like they did illegaly in new orleans after Katrina. I still wont ever "register" any of my firearms though

Which Amendment to the Constitution addresses the right of the people to Keep and Drive cars? Oh yeah, there isn't one. Maybe that's because cars and guns are completely, totally different things and don't compare at all in this situation. Or, maybe it's because our founding fathers realized that an armed populace is the only real safeguard against tyranny, and that you really can't defend your freedom with a Mustang.
