115K
98 Bright Atlantic Blue GT 5 speed
Grey cloth
Clean carfax
Runs strong
Factory 3.27
Power and keyless entry
Very well documented, Window Sticker, owners manual, service manual, stock wheels, etc.
I don't know what else to say, its a real eye catcher, very nice looking car.
Flowmaster catbacks and O/r H pipe with stock H-pipe.
SCT Tuner, CAI, B&M Shifter and UD pullies
And more, not including the Saleens.
Always Garaged kept, I am 3rd owner. 1st owner sold it to his uncle and I bought it off him. Appears to have been undercoated and rustproofed at some time.
Minor scuff on corner of rear bumper can't even see in pics you have to be close to the car to see. Have spoiler.

I don't know, kbb never seems to accurate with mustangs and others cars like that. That seems a little on the low side.

Thats like the book price on a fox with 70k will be way less than what people are getting IMO.:dunno:

Private party value for a 93 Cobra with 6 miles on it is $6700 in excellent condition so I kinda avoid using that service.

I'm guessing what John said in his 1st post as well. Reason why the thought is crossing my mind is I'd like something with a little more go and less mileage so that if I ever wanted to go forced induction I would have a peace of mind by doing it on a fresher engine. I was kinda looking into the 04-06 GTO or 03-04 Cobra crowd. I really would rather keep it though its probably my favorite car if it was quicker but to make that engine quick would be some money especially with 115k miles I should really buy a new shortblock or find a used 50k mile or less engine to start with.

I really don't see $6K+ out of a 98 GT with 115K miles, clean or not. I think you'd be real lucky to get $5500.

I agree, especially these days. It's a buyers market now, and I really expect to see prices corrected to reality a lot over the next months. The way things are, you are going to see lots of lower mile cars on the market, and it will kill the value of the higher mile ones.

Ultimately, a car is worth what someone is willing to pay. What" anyone" thinks it's worth means nothing until there is a buyer.

Good point, the market is pretty darn crappy..

i know kbb isnt gonna get you what you want out of it,but most people start there and work with the price. im by no means saying your car is only worth 4800, was just giving you a starting point. with the market, plus it's winter right now so that will keep the price down. those are two things i would have in mind if i was looking. people are gonna wanna buy cheap now for the summer cruizing.

why are you selling it? or are you just trying to see what you could get for it?

Mike are you selling with your saleens mounted or as pictured? That would help you out a little as well..

Yeah pretty much just seeing what I could probably get for it so if I do go and list it my price isn't too high or low. Probably going to keep it, I love the looks of it but the thought crosses my mind every so often to get a GTO or Cobra.

Well I know I couldn't even get 6500 out of my 01 with 97k so I'd figure maybe a little less for yours even though it looks like its in great shape. You might be better off keeping it and building a motor down the road for it. Plus I'd imagine insurance for a Termy or gto being ridiculous for someone your age.

What was wrong with your 01? That seems very cheap. From what I remember that was a nice clean ride. But yeah I think you are right, just build a motor down the road and throw it in. The car is probably worth more to me than others plus its sentimental value. Its going to cost me a ton of money either way whether I make my car quick or buy a quick car. Just got to keep saving my cash for a motor.

I got $6k out of my Atlantic Blue 98 almost 2 yrs ago and it had 89k miles on it. It was loaded and the only thing it didn't have was leather. Your car is clean Mike, but with the economy the way it is now everything is going to shit!! Example: My 2000 Escalade a year ago KBB for $13k, now the book is only $8k tops.....Recession sux!!!

Yeah the values on these cars has plummeted. I'll just do a motor for it and drop it in. Just wish I had a second ride so this one doesn't get too many miles and I don't have to worry about the practicality of any mods.

Keep it. The other cars are too pricey. Spend around $7000 and build up a motor and you'll burn them every day.
