A friend of mine has a 250 R that he no longer wants. He is after a Rhino now. Cash and trade would probally work if somebody here is interested.


Now for the quad.

Its a 1989 Honda 250R Great shape!! Low hours.
Newly re-build top end
Bills pipes pipe
Maier plastics and new seat cover.
ITP tires
I honestly cant think of anything else.
It runs perfect, starts right up and ready to ride.
Its located about 2 miles from my house in Carnegie.

From what he says, they are worth more than that. I dont know. I never fooled with a two stroke except for my radio controlled cars. I have no idea of the value.

i'm a dirtibke guy, but yea, the old 250R's are definitely a prized commodity now-a-days. They were only made for a few years as far as i know. They are good engines, and can take quite a beating. My uncle has an '86, rides it a lot, and has only ever put 4 top ends in it. WHen the Yamaha Raptor first came out, he had several offers for a straight up trade.... Honestly, if you market that bike in the right place, i dont think he'll have ANY trouble getting 3K

He still has it. Figuring with spring here somebody will want it. He is looking for some parts for his mustang. He wants a T-56 and the leather seats from a Cobra. I am sure if somebody has these items, a possible trade for parts and cash would be good.
