It's happening a old strip is going to close and a new one being built! :pepper:

That's a rare sight in this day & age! Dragstrips are disappearing as fast as general aviation airports.

So it's like, what? An hour or so southwest of Akron? Head on out to Summit, pick up some parts, get'em installed along the way, and head to the track to tune. :sticktonge:I like the way you think.:thumbsup: :awsome:

Driving normally and avoiding the Ohio police, its about 2 1/2 hours away and nowhere near summit. Go down rt 30 in imperial and just follow it. We used to go there for the Mid-Ohio ama super bike races every year.:awsome:

i go to the superbike races every year so its a long ride from here to mansfield to go dragracing.but if you want you could make it a weekend thing and go down town and cruise.its cool and i seen some cool cars with parachutes on the back and wheelie bars.

Didn't seem that far on the map. So much for convenience and an alternative to the local track.

That is a long ass haul, especially if you break something and you don't have a way to get yourself and your car home.:frown:
