john - not sure that have any pics of both but i will check

also, volkers auto body does this and does a real nice job :goodidea:

I got it done by a buddy over on sn95forums, awesome job.. the middle taillight was not plugged in therefore you cant see it

Can you refer me to him? I'd like to have that done. Maybe I should keep a stock pair in the trunk as well in case cops give me a hard time over the tint.

Scott, were you ever pulled over for those tinted tails?

I tinted the tails on my VW about 8 months ago and never had any problem. I bought a can of spray tint and it worked great. Only problem is getting the same amount of tint on both.

I tinted my tails a long time ago, I think i posted up pics....they are almost black and never had any problems....love the way they look too.
