I got the intake off and the metal line that goes from the back of the water pump to the heater core. TFS gives you a thermostat hose to replace this with.
I have never ran a PVC setup on these heads and it shows. There's absolutly no carbon, or oil redsidue in the ports or on the valves or guides since installing them last year.
When I removed the intake and heads last time they were pretty dirty.

Update:
Well I'm at a stand still because TFS forgot one little clip. It's called a hose barb clip and is used when replacing the steel coolant line under the intake so it can be replaced with a rubber hose. It helps keep the hose from coming off or leaking, and replaces the rubber O rings. I think I could get by without it but I'm just going wait and do it right.

I can't afford a truck and trailer after all the parts I buy lol. I can't really tell much or a difference in drivabilty once I'm cruising. I do have a cheap adjustable clutch cable and 6 puck clutch so it does realease a little high. With the newer cares and tuning solutions it's not as hard as it use to be. I have trapped as high as 130 at 516 rwhp on cold day at Mason Dixon. I have had to be towed to rodeheavers one time because of s stripped out spark plug hole.

Getting closer. The Sc, throttle cable and the valve covers should be in Monday. I'm also waiting for a pipe that goes from a 4.5" oval to a 4" round pipe that's should show up Thursday.

Well the oval to round 4.5"-4" pipe showed up today a long with a 4" 45* elbow.
Just a little mock up. I think I might be able to find a way to to avoid changing the valve covers.

Just cut the oil fill tube down and apoxy it flush with the valve cover. That's what I had to do for it to clear my Bulliitt intake setup.

You can do it with the valve cover one...carefully with a rag or pull the valve cover. I just cut the fill tube in the middle with a hack saw. Then you remove the tube off the valve cover and carefully breaking it off the valve cover. Then you trim the upper section down, but make sure still has treads inside for the cap. Then glue it down with two part apox or superglue. Just use a rag and a vacuum cleaner and you should be good.
Yep my car is still running good. It's been in the garage covered up for the winter. I bought a new Ford Fusion, so my desire to drive or work on my stangs is very little now

Well I shortened the oil fill and made a bracket to use the 98 cobra accelerator cable. I also put the bung in for the idle control valve in the oval to round pipe the goes to the throttle body. I did it the same way i did the last 2. Just drilling, taping and JB welding lol. It's ghetto. But it works.
Original oil fill

Modified oil fill to make room for the new placement of the oval throttle body.

Homemade accelerator cable bracket before paint. First 2 holes on the t-bracket line up to the holes on the intake mount and the third makes a great place for the return spring.

Painted
http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d113/Jivepepper/102_1484.jpg
Homemade ghetto pipe. It's just a steel 4.5" to 4" exhaust pipe that was squeezed in a press to oval the 4.5" side. Then drilled and thread in the barbed brass fitting.

95% done still need to finish putting the belt on, fill with fliuds and change oil, and put the the 2 pipes from the SC to the inlet of the intercooler.
About a hour or two tomorrow and I should be done. Damn this has been a long project. Mostly because I had to fab a lot of little stuff and I did it all by myself, since my son is away at school. I have a retune scheduled for april 3rd. :)
