can i remove the hard heater hose that bolts into the front of the lower intake and goes back to the rubber heater hoses at the firewall on my 87? would i just have to put the coolant temp sensor in the intake where the hose bolted in? will this change anything besides me not having a working heater??

reason i ask is because mine leaks like CRAZY where it rotates so you can turn it to bolt it into the intake. i dont drive my car in the winter so i dont care to not have a heater for now, ill probably replace it later but for now can i just remove it and replace it with the sensor???

I can't remember how that plumbing works... I only saw it up close on Balaska's car, and his leaked too. Maybe the ttt will catch someone's attention.
