I've been looking for a fox body mustang for a a few months now and can't seem to find anything. And by fast i don't mean 12 second mustangs thats not what i'm looking for. Basically looking for a 347cu or higher motor would prefer carbed but doesn't matter.. Car has to be an auto, i'm done with 5 spd cars its not for me when im trying to go fast.. Even if its a 306 car but has auto and good heads and stuff that can be worked around. If anybody knows of anything please let me know. Thanks

my friend has a 85 coupe with a fresh paint job, 8-point bar, full rear suspension, 3500 stall, c-4, 373 gears, convo pros, 331 strocker with ALAN ROOTS heads, much much more, i think he wants 6500$ If you have never heard of Alan roots heads, maybe you should look em up these were the leading heads in many small block ford classes, drag/stock car/etc, until the production of allum heads we have today...

 Whats wrong with those wheels! They dont look too bad. Air scoop sticking out of the hood FTW. Kills the sleeper aspect though.:sticktonge:

I would have to see the car in person, the air scoop in my opinion is hideous and needs to go and i really don't think the gt bumper fits in right but im sure its nicer in person if i look past that stuff, i like convo pros nice looking wheels

i really love convo pros myself, and i really really love the 3 butterfly scoops FTW... i was talking to him earlier, he said the tranny is all done right by a guy in u-town, with a tci 3500 stall, it has new black carpet, 90/10 front struts (lakewood), lakewood lower cont arms, gms double adj uppers, 50/50 lakewoods out back, frame connectors done by me, 8- point cage with dual swingouts done by me...

i think that car looks great, definatly needs the rest of the ground effects to go with the bump. i think that scoop might look better in person...

A friend of mine is selling his mid 9 second street car. It's a fox with a 373 stroker and a zex perimeter plate kit capable of 400 hp. The kit is staged, 150 and 150 and so far with a loose converter, he's ran 9.70 on street tires. He has over $50k in the car, and would sell it for $27,000.00 or so. Car is worth it, very well built STREET car, with full interior. Here is a link of it at Quaker on a pass http://videos.streetfire.net/video/10205550-b6bd-4b01-9a08-985d014cb55c.htm As you can tell from the vid, car leaves like a turd, 1.49 60' but he has a 5000 stahl which will be getting sent out shortly to get tightened up. car will be lower 9's this year with a couple things done to it. It's on race gas when using nitrous, and pump gas n/a.
