its goin. Decided that I needed a change of pace again and took a job offer that I couldnt refuse, but the economy decided to give me other plans and I'm kind of looking again. Thinking that I am going to get off my duff while I have the free time and finally sit for a few ac sci exams... either that or train to become a chef (seriously). I haven't decided yet.
Its been a really really REALLY fekked up 2009 and we're only 3 months in :( I miss Pittsburgh (except for the penns). Sold all my fast toys and now I have to roll in the Hyundai :( but hopefully that will change with a new job or I get something so rediculously cheap I can't say no.
How are things there? Word I got on the street is that from an economic standpoint things are the worst anyone can remember.

LOL i saw that thread but the volume of replies scurred me off for a bit until I caught up on the drag racing and other threads.
Speaking of which, has keystone opened up yet this year? I guess not considering there aren't any "Only got 2 runs in at keystone..." "Why does everyone hate keystone so much??" threads yet :)

Not too much. Got a gig in Canada, eh? :)
Who woulda thought that with Obama in office, Canada would be *more* conservative than the US.
Funny story... was doing some work on the chicken coop and ****ed my hand up and needed 5 stitches. Went to the ER and after all the "ZOMG THEY'RE CODING... CLEAR... *zap*" cases went through, I got stiched up, got the tetnaus(sp) shot, etc.
Heathcare here is a surreal experience.
When you go to the ER, the first thing they ask you "what's wrong?" as opposed to "what insurance do you have?". When they were done with me they looked at me kinda funny with this "why are you sitting here when you can go?" kind of look. I asked them "Do I need any paperwork or pay anything or whatever?"
"uh <confused> no."
So I walked out. No bill, no BS.
Granted, the system isn't all peaches and cream. I know that I had to wait longer to get stitched up than I probably would have to wait in the states. But it's nice to know that you don't have to choose between getting health care or paying rent/buying food/paying your car/etc.
People are also WAY friendlier than in the city of brotherly shove, and the hockey is better too :)

Nope... never had it rebuit. I don't recall if the person before me had it rebuilt. I simply bought it "as is".
