No, what we need is for people to step up and take some personal responsibility because your own actions have some bearing on what happens to you. If it was more important to you to hang out on the streets and smoke crack than to get a high school diploma so that you could get a university or trade degree, don't go crying to me that the system is "oppressing" you.

Speaking as someone who came close a few times to losing a sibling on the force, these f'ers need to let the cops have carte blanche on these a-holes for one day... then they would REALLY know what "oppression" is.
