I just love these tires. I had to settle for BFG's last year because the were on back order. They were a disappointment compared to the Mt's I'm so glad I got them this season. The new pattern out handled the BFG's lasted longer and did better in the rain. I even prefer them to Nittos as far as traction handling and wet weather. I have never used Nittos over a long period just back in forth to the track a few times which as 90 miles each way.

The newer thread design is a step above the older thread design and really makes them competitive in all areas now just not traction. I know Hoosier works well but are a hazardous for daily driving. M&H look about the same as MT's new pattern but are about 30-40 more on the average.

I feel the new MT's are hard to beat because they do so well in every category now.

MT's there is no substitute.

I love the MT rag radials, all the same reasons you mentioned. The BFGs did ok for me, but they wore quick. The MT hook is better and seems to be lasting longer. It's interesting to see the new tread pattern. I bought the 275/60-15s here at the beginning of last season.

They only make that thread pattern in certain sizes. I bought the newer style 2 years ago when it first came out. The newer is better if you get caught in the rain. But both are great at the track.

Just not a good tire for the street

I got about 10k from my last ones.
