I sadly received the call about the incident. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of the officers families.
I work in the Allegheny County Forensic Lab, firearms, so I will have to deal with this on Monday.

What an asshole!
He was afraid obama was going to take his guns away. I don't think he has to worry about that anymore.

Thought and prayers went out to the officers and their families when I saw this on the news. I did not know how to even post it on here. It's just stupid sad.
NO wonder the police break everybody's balls so bad. When they get a call from now on, they should just launch an RPG into the fu cking house first, then go in and arrest who's alive. F Uck it.

Very sad and unacceptable. I have quite a few law enforcement friends, I worry about them all the time for this very reason. Definitely in my prayers...

I emailed my cop buddy about this. He sent me a few paragraphs which are not going to be published here. But, I liked this one line...
In the meantime, be kind, courteous and respect the rights of everyone out there. And don't make any mistakes or they'll sue you.

Also sorry for your loss, Frank. Prayers to the families.

I was watching this at 7:30 on the morning news yesterday. Its total bs. I feel bad for the familys that now have to live without their loved ones. Especially the children. They should have ended this fools life when they went into the house to get him. That would have been too easy though.
Brian, your right. It was the top story on MSN yesterday for quite a while.

I'm at a lost for words and can't believe this happened in my city! I don't understand people who don't respect the law! My heart goes out to the officers families and the Pittsburgh Police!
I'm all in favor of making this scumbag a national example of what will happen to the next cop killer. At noon the day after his conviction, a public torture/execution should be performed in front of the courthouse and broadcasted on EVERY channel across the country!

Very sorry for your loss Frank. So sad that there are people out there that don't think twice about taking a life.
I work down in Oakland at the hospital and I can not believe how many cop cars are here. They are three lanes of cop cars just parked on 5th and two on Forbes. It is amazing to see. I actually put some pics on my facebook.

2 months ago, I joined the all the people as the Steelers parade came down Grant Street. Today, in the same spot, I watched the funeral procession come down Grant. The sorrow was palpable. I paid my respects this morning before work, and there, as at the procession, mine was not the only clenched jaw and tight throat.
Go rest high on that mountain, officers.

This is truely a dam shame!! It makes me want to go and punch the stupid bitch in the mouth who has hired a lawyer to get the cop charged for killing her son who was trying to run down the troopers a few weeks ago. For christ sakes, it was the second time he did it. These guys put there neck out on the choping block every second their on the job and have to worry about their actions that are made in split seconds in a life threatning situation. If this country wasn't full of a bunch of pussies, the little bitch who shot these officers would be hanging at the point for open target practice.

Nice signature tribute pic, Shawn.
I was standing behind the wife of an officer during the procession yesterday, and she was wearing a tribute tshirt to the 3 officers. On the back was a quote I really liked, came to find out it's from Proverbs 28:1:
The wicked flee when no one pursues
But the righteous are bold as a lion

Anyone know where you can purchase the shirts they had made? I saw on KDKA website I believe that they sold out...but where would these be able to be purchased when they have more?
I want to pick a couple up for me, my dad and my step-dad who is a retired police officer in NJ...also want one for my brother who is chief of police back in NJ as well...as you all know the police family extends far and wide and knows not city or state boundries...

As some of you know I work in Law Enforcment, I was the one cooking the burgers at WOLFPACK for the tuning day. I sincerely appreciate all of the comments and posts that you guys have posted up. It is hard at times doing this job and you sometimes become very "cold" towards the public. This is after 14 yrs of doing the job. It is terrible tragedies like this that make me realize why I do what I do and that the majority of the population appreciate what we do. So, I thank all of you for supporting my fallen brothers!

This was such a terrible terrible tragedy!! People like this, or should I say animals like this want to act like we're still in the wild west. So I feel they should be punished as such. Try them, and in this case everyone knows he's guilty! and hang the P.O.S.!! And televise it so everyone can see that this type of crap will no longer be tollerated!!
And how about this guy's grandmother protesting being locked out of the house? What's up with that?
Condolences and prayers to the families. R.I.P. To all our fallen heroes!!!
