well, someone finally traded in a nice truck at work and i jumped on it
06 ram quad cab thunderroad edition with 36k on it. Managed to get them to put a 6yr/80000 mile powertrain warranty. The good thing is the truck is equipped nicely with a ARE painted tonneau, side tubes, remote start/alarm, bug shield, bedliner, ventvisors and of course the 345hp hemi. Signed today, pick it up tomorrow.. very stoked:jump:

Nice. I had an 03 Quad Cab. I bought a 09 Hemi Crew cab about a month ago. Loving it. 390hp 407tq, 20 inch wheels and Detenator Yellow. O yeah 18.5mpg on the way how from the dealer!

Congrats Mike. That's the best way to buy 'em. Let someone else drive it for a year or two and load it up with extras. G/L with it.

thanks, sure i will... mpg has me a little worried, hear some ppl that are getting really bad mileage... good thing is working for chrysler i can get parts dirt cheap and get them worked on by techs for side $. supposidly a CAI and tuner can bump them up a few mpg and add a few horses as well
pics coming tomorrow

very nice. can't wait to see pics. :goodidea:
The rear-end will determine your mileage more than anything. It have 3.73 or 4.10?

Thats a nice truck. I origionally wanted a Dodge ram when I bought my F250, but the local dodge dealer treatd me like Shiz, so I went to Sturman Ford.
So far my Hemi isn't bad on gas, but it is in a Car,(09 Challenger), but my F250 is lucky to get 10MPG city, but did manage 17 highway a couple of times, but mostly hovers around 14 or so highway. couldn't imagine a half ton Dodge worse than that.

truck rides awesome. reset the overhead thing and after about 30 miles it says my avg. is 13.5mpg. filled it up before hand so i can calculate it for real and see how accurate it really is
