Anyone on here ever mount up a set of 17 x 10.5" wheels on the rear of a Fox? I have a set that currently have 315/35/17 BFG Drag Radials that will no wat fit without mini-tubbing the car which I'm not looking to do. The wheels are FR500 deep dish.

If anyone has done this, what size tire do you run? I'm thinking that a smaller tire may work considering that my 15 x 9" Draglites with a MT 28 x 10.5" Drag fit no problem.

had 315s on the back of my old lx, had to use a stock width rear end with i think it was 1/4 inch spacers and alot of massaging to the inner fender wells, haha bfh. also had to be pretty much stock heighth. pm paxtonshelby he bought my old car, he might besure on the spacer size. even with all that they still rubbed on off camber situations but for every day driving they were fine

Yeah, the current wheel and tire look like they'll fit with about a 3/16" or 1/4" spacer, but that looks like it would allow the quater panel lip to squat down on the tire.

No Troy, they went with the Cobra when I sold it. I purchased the FR500 wheels the Jper had listed for sale on here. I'm still only 50/50 convienced that they will or won't work. The rear is no longer stock width, has disc brakes and I still have to roll the fender lips.

The 17x9's that are there for the front fit on the rear with 275/40/17's with pleanty of room to spare. I think I'm going to have to dismount the BFG's and see what kind of roon is there with just the rims bolted up.
