my cam now has these specs

http://www.pittspeed.com/uploaded/Camspecs.jpg

and im pretty sure im going to be goin with a Vortech. now my question is is this a decent Supercharger cam or should i pick up a new one for maximum power. I was looking at the E303 but im not too "up" on cam specs so its safer to get others opinions.

any input is greatly appreciated.

thanks

i would think you would want one with split duration.

Your existing cam should work as well or better than the E-303(has a 110 deg. lca). A professionally designed cam by someone like Ed Curtis will work very well & surely produce some gains. Don't waste your time contacting any of the major cam company tech lines. You can read the same recommendations in the catalogs. What a waste of time that was when I did it.

I think a trick flow stage 1 cam would work nice. It may be somthing to really research before you drop the money on one.

I definitely agree with you on that one Mark. I called Comp's tech line and the idiot that answered was unable to listen to what I was asking. He went so far to left field. I was like whooooaaaa, who in the hell hired your a$$.

With boost you need to get the correct lobe separation. Most people go with a split duration heavy on the exhaust side with boosted application. I have never built a superchaged motor so I know minimal here. Aint as easy as picking a cam for for an NA big block.
