My tuning laptop died today. Looking for something with USB and serial ports. Speed isnt real important either. Obviuosly looking for cheap, but let me know what you have.

Bob I think there was a local guy selling older laptops refurbed for stuff like this.
I remember because I was and am thinking of getting a cheap old one just for tuning.
Maybe search will find it?
BTW, how'd the car run?

I hope you didn't lose your data from the track.

J - I will look into it. These cheap mini Acer's are looking good for what I really do with one. The one I had was HEAVY and only had a 8 gb HD, going to one of them ought to be worth a few 100'ths :D
Car ran okay but slow. Still no boost in it and REALLY safe on AFR (12.0:1 or fatter). Blew a charge pipe off 1st pass, got two others. Went back today and got some good data.... see next point..............

I hope not too, but the computer seems DEAD. I got the hard drive out of it and ordered a kit to plug that hard drive into another computer. Hopefully I can save those runs (and my binary editor activation) as those where really clean data logs.
