Although nothing is official, I'm surprised it wasn't Buick. I grew up in Pontiacs and dig the older ones, but I really could care less about them anymore.

Would you believe Buick is on of top status cars in China. They are bigger than Cadillac over there. Thats why Buick is not gone. Or so I have been told.

Looks like Chrysler is worse off then GM. Talk is Fiat may sit back off the merger and wait till bankrupcty and pick off the suv and truck lines. Plus they may pickup Saturn as well.

May as well put Chrysler on the list with AMC, Packard etc. :hang:

For sure. When no one else wa spaying much attention to that market, GM took Buick into Shanghai and started building cars there. When you ride around in China you would be amazed how many Buicks you see. Other brands are quickly catching up, but for sure Buick is the company car of choice.

dont worry bud, its looking better for chrysler today. they came to concessions with canadian UAW and this was just released...

im kinda happy not to be at a GM dealer since they pretty much said 42% of all GM dealers will close within a year. hopefully fiat Brings chrysler some small car technology and they can kill the avenger/sebring and small JEEPS ASAP as they all failing badly at selling. i doubt even if they would file for bankruptcy, it isnt like all the dealers will just close up the next day. ^Crosses fingers!!!

i was reading up on this and both GMC and buick have higher profits than pontiac despite sales. its a shame, but theres nothing left to do but downsize
