my dirt scooter

i sold both my rm 265's this winter and bought this scooter back in febuary..

it's a 08 kx450f. it had 20hrs on it when i bought it. i bought it from a good friend of mine. the suspension has been revalved and resprung already.he is the same skill level as me and almost the same weight so the suspension should be perfect for me.

here are some pics the way i bought it. and then some with some new stuff on it. i have two sets of plastics i'm using. one has my sponsor logos on it(crossroads) and the other set is just monster kawasaki. i like be different, thats the reason for the white plastics.

it took me awhile to get comfortable on it since i was coming off a two stroke. it reacts differently coming off jumps and etc. i have about 8 hrs on it now and i'm still dialing it in and going faster.now my fitness is holding me back i need to lose about 50lbs.

i had a yz450f. damn did that bike run!!! i remember racing my cousins high 13 second 96 camaro and i pulled a few car lenghts on him.

I never had any luck with Kaw. Stupid stuff, like the case breaking when I put the drain plug back in and residual stuff like stock chains and sprockets and components seemed cheaper than the other Jap companies.

But, they always look better and they're usually faster than the competition.

Is that Steel City? :goodidea:

Sorry i meant pleasure valley. lol i was getting ready to go golfing when i wrote tht and had pleasant valley (golf course) in my head:rofl:..

That track is owned by cernics correct? its not too far from me
