Wifey and I stopped at the Flight 93 temporary memorial yesterday. She took some pictures. We didn't notice until we put them on the computer that this picture had an exhaust tail from a jet directly above the flags and the cross.
Freaky, huh?

a few more pics. I don't know how I feel about the Memorial. It's kinda pathetic that our government can't get the real estates issues worked out with the land owners and build a real memorial there.
BUT, the homemade plaques and stuff that people have left there is pretty wild, too. IDK??? :innocent:

last i heard they did get the land deal settled and was sposa be drawing up the plans to get the permanent memorial built.

Just curious, did they leave the crater there, or was it filled in ?
What ridiculous is the fact that the government is condemning the land, seizing it to build a monument and not paying the land owners for it. Saw that in an article in usatoday.

i actually was out there a couple days after the accident...my pap at the time had a place @ Indian Lake which is a mile or so from the scene & some debri went into the lake
